Magiq's Marketing Gnomes
Why we talk about Gnomes
Magiq works with state-of-the art web technology which uses real-time and historic data on your visitors' behavior in using your site to "do the right thing" - see Advanced Technology
How to reach our customers
Gnomes are a good metaphor for users who are not familiar with the technical terminology generally used with this advanced Web2.0 technology and analytics to understand how Magiq works and how you use it for your benefit.
Gnome controls
The idea is that you hire 'Gnomes' to look after specific things and to perform specific tasks. Perhaps there is a banner with pricing which you want Magiq Locale to adjust to show the right local prices to each visitor.
Paying Gnomes
You hire a gnome to alter this content, give him a name (say "Gordon"), set his instructions on which price-list graphics or text to show in which geographies, give him a budget to work with and set him to work - as simple as that!
Laying off Gnomes
You can put a gnome to sleep (at any time), if you want that function to stop, and wake him up again (at any time) if you want it to start again.
'Money getting low' alerts
Email alerts are sent to you when an individual gnome is running low on available budget so that you can decide whether to give it more money or stop it working.
You can start with one product (for example Magiq's Chameleon product which customizes landing (or other) pages in real-time based on visitor's search terms) and see how it works.
As soon as you open your Magiq account we will start collecting and compiling data about your visitors and building their histories, so if you then choose another product, Magiq will instantly have all your customer history and behavior to draw on.
